Stuart Kendall

I am a PhD student at the University of Exeter, joining the Centre for Doctoral Training in Metamaterials in early 2022. I graduated with an MPhys (Hons) degree from Newcastle University in 2021 ,with my MPhys project, titled 'Exploiting Metamaterials and Effective Medium Concepts for Exotic Wave-Matter Interactions in the Case of an ENZ Sensor', looking at utilising materials with near-zero values of permittivity as sensors.

My PhD project is titled 'Active Optical Metasurfaces for AI-Type computing' and is under the supervision of Prof. C. David Wright and Prof. Jacopo Bertolotti
