Mr Richard Davies

I am a Senior Research Fellow and the Additive Manufacturing [AM] Programme Lead at the Centre for Additive Layer Manufacturing, involved in all aspects of AM research with the group.

As an industrial user of AM technologies since 2001 for such applications as domestic white goods development, metrology, neurological/medical engineering and architecture I have experienced the development and application of Additive Manufacturing first hand, and been an active member of the international AM community for over 20 years. Since joining the Exeter Technologies Group in 2011, my focus is now the development of new high perfomance polymers and their composites for various AM processes.
