Rongxu Liu

Rongxu is a doctoral researcher in Engineering at the University of Exeter, working at the intersection of immersive virtual reality, sustainable built environments, and human wellbeing. Her research investigates how digital and built environments influence restoration, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement through experimental, mixed-method, and user-centred approaches. She conducts controlled virtual reality studies of restorative environments and develops integrated digital platforms to support stakeholder participation and sustainability-oriented design decision-making in interior construction. Her work aims to advance human-centred digital innovation for healthier and more sustainable built environment practices.
