Are we being serious about water?

Firstly, Mehdi attended the Water, Wastewater and Environmental Monitoring Conference (‘WWEM 2021’) from 12-13^th October 2021. Here, he participated in a Net Zero Round Table, hosted by Oliver Grievson (Z-Tech Control Systems), where they discussed the question of how to achieve net zero emissions in wastewater.

On 1^st November 2021, Medhi travelled to Amsterdam for the Aquatech Innovation Forum where he hosted a serious gaming workshop. Conference attendees, including CEOs, researchers and engineers, participated in ”Aquatech Town” – a virtual community comprising 300,000 inhabitants – where players can help the town overcome water stress by implementing circular, energy-efficient solutions.

Mehdi also presented the NextGen Serious Game at the Amsterdam International Water Week Conference (‘AIWW2021) in early November 2021, as well as giving a virtual presentation to OFWAT staff.
