Water, Energy and Food workshop in Bangalore

Professors Zoran Kapelan of the University of Exeter and Mohan Kumar of the Indian Institute of Science organised a workshop on a Water, Energy and Food nexus in India. 

The workshop was held in Bangalore on 23 Nov 2016 and was supported by the Engineering and Physical Science Research Council’s Global Challenges Research Fund. The workshop was well attended with delegates coming from research organisations in India (IISc, ATREE, CEEW) and the UK (University of Exeter, Imperial College London), alongside those from the local water industry and government. The workshop focused on addressing issues related to the resilience of the WEF nexus in India under climate change and other uncertainties.

The next event on the topic of WEF nexus in India will be held in Exeter on 28 March 2017.
