I am a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Exeter, working in modelling and control of autonomous and intelligent engineering systems. My research spans autonomous systems, vehicle platoons, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), intelligent transport systems (ITS), and marine decarbonisation, with a focus on energy-efficient and safety-critical operation of electrified mobility platforms. I develop advanced control, optimisation, and data-driven frameworks to support sustainable transport and maritime systems under uncertainty.

I am affiliated with the Centre for Future Clean Mobility (CFCM) and the Autonomy, Decision and Control Group at Exeter, and I serve as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Engineering Design at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). My work integrates nonlinear control, sliding mode control, predictive control, and time-scale modelling with machine learning and hybrid physics-informed approaches to address complex cyber-physical systems.

Beyond mobility, I apply systems modelling, optimisation, and uncertainty-aware decision frameworks to interdisciplinary challenges, including cancer modelling and treatment decision-support, epidemiological systems, cybersecurity, and additive manufacturing-enabled control design. I welcome collaborations with researchers and clinicians interested in integrating quantitative modelling and machine learning into interdisciplinary and translational research.
