I am a phd student in the Centre for Metamaterial Research and Innovation. The project I am working on is titled "Retrodirective Metamaterials for Long Range Identification and Sensing" with supervisors Dr Alexander Powell and Professor Alastair Hibbins. So far the in the project I have explored a different approach to using dark modes and that has now led me to exploring similar interference effects.
In 2022 I graduated from the University of Exeter with a masters degree in physics after doing a computational theoretical project that explored the use of 2D overlayers for enhancing a material's passive water splitting capabilities in order to obtain hydrogen.
