Research Summary
My research focuses on the digitalisation, modelling, operation and reliability of modern power systems, with particular emphasis on industry-relevant challenges arising from renewable integration and the transition to low- carbon electricity networks.
Research Expertise
Power System Planning, Operation, Security and Stability in Renewable-Rich Networks, System-Level Coordinated Control, Digitalisation, Digital Twinning, Condition Monitoring and Reliability of Power Equipment and Networks, AI/ML-Enabled and Physics-Informed Power System Analytics
He has developed a strong track record in research leadership and external engagement, acting as Principal Investigator on projects with a combined value approaching £1 million. He recently completed two industry-funded projects: 'Impact of integrating Battery Energy Storage System' and 'Feasibility of six-phase transmission system to increase power transfer capability to cope with future energy scenarios', both funded by National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET).
