Postgraduate Researcher (Metamaterials CDT 2019)
I am a PhD student studying "New Materials and Structures that Control the Propagation of Acoustic Radiation" under the supervision of Dr David Horsell and Dr Steven Hepplestone as part of the Metamaterials Centre for Doctoral Training.
In 2019 I graduated from the University of Exeter with a Masters Degree in Natural Sciences. My undergraduate research included examining the thermoregulation of broodless microcolonies of the European bumblebee Bombus terrestris, as well as the simulation of a photonic crystal design to be coupled with single-photon-emitting hexagonal Boron Nitride.
