International Women in Engineering Day
18 June 2025
Crafting tomorrow with women's hands in engineering
International Women in Engineering Day is a global celebration dedicated to recognising the remarkable contributions and achievements of women in the field of engineering. This day serves as a platform to highlight the vital role that women play in shaping the engineering landscape, driving innovation, and fostering diversity and inclusion within the profession. It is a time to honour the ground breaking female engineers who have paved the way for future generations and to inspire young girls and women to pursue careers in engineering. Through various events, International Women in Engineering Day aims to promote gender equality, empower women in STEM fields, and create a more inclusive and equitable future for all.
This year's INWED celebration features three competitions: Presentation, Poster, and Research Image.
